There are over 170 virtual tours of the Red Zone from 27 different locations in the CBd plus a number taken from across Canterbury. The virtual tours of the CBD show the demolition and subsequent rebuild of the Red Zone from March 2011. There a number taken of North Canterbury including Rangiora and Kaiapoi as wellas the Sumner hills rock falls. You will be able to look back in time and see what the CBD once looked like and then see how it changed over time. 

To use the application touch or click the red pins and open a location in the Google map. The left  menu has a pull down option which lists the Red Zone locations. There is full screen functionality by clicking the button in the virtual tour. These tours go back in time to the end of 2012.
